Ken Bricker

Hello! I’m Ken Bricker. I’m 53 years old and in my 30 year marriage I have 4 children. I coach my 12 year old daughters soccer and softball teams which takes up plenty of time spring through fall.

I plan to retire from my job as a mechanic for a city in SE Michigan in less than 2 years. The desire to provide my family with a comfortable lifestyle both before and after retirement has brought me to internet marketing. I now own two traffic exchanges, a hosting service, an auto responder service and an article directory.

In the past few years I’ve learned that the best way to get and keep customers is by not being a salesman. Building trust and friendship is the only way to build an online business. It’s really the same as a brick and mortar business. I’ve also learned that I must let my personality show through. That gives people a sense of actually knowing me and I also go out of my way to get to know my customers as well.

Helping people out with solid advice, an occasional and useful free product, or just with anything they don’t quite understand is very gratifying to me. Getting a “Thank you so much, Ken” letter is always more satisfying than even a “you just got paid” note!

Hi! I’m Renee Scattergood. I happen to be the wife of the most wonderful man in the whole world and the mother of a little girl who is the light of my life. My family means everything to me and they are the reason I work so hard to become financially independent.

I didn’t start off in Internet Marketing. I discovered a love of writing when I was in my early 20’s. As a self-published author, though, I knew I would need to learn about marketing if I ever hoped to sell a book.

I started researching ways that I could market my books online. That’s when I discovered the world of Internet Marketing and I got completely sucked in. I started signing up for just about everything I saw… and yeah, I soon learned what a silly thing that is to do. So I backed off and chose one company I wanted to work with and just looked for some ways to market it.

I couldn’t seem to get any signups, sales, nothing. I couldn’t even get anyone to say boo, but instead of heeding the definition of insanity (doing the same thing over and over expecting different results), I thought I just wasn’t doing enough of the same thing over and over and thought if I did more I would get at least a little of something. After all, that’s what all the so-called “gurus” were spouting.

Well after about 3 years searching I finally found the right information and group of people to show me what I need to do in order to succeed in this industry. I know that 2009 is going to be my year for success. And not just in Internet Marketing… I’m also working on my first fiction novel, and I hope to have it published by early 2010.
